Scholarship Fund

We are pleased to share that we are enrolled in the Ohio Scholarship Fund DBA Every Child Every Family SGO.

Choose where your tax dollars go!

We are partnering with Every Child Every Family, an Ohio Scholarship Granting Organization, to fundraise scholarships for our students in grades KG through High School. Donations to Every Child Every Family qualify for the Ohio Scholarship Granting Organization tax credit of up to $750 per taxpayer ($1,500 married filing joint). Each spouse must make a separate donation to qualify for the full $1,500 tax credit. We have until April 15, 2026, to raise as much as possible for the 2026/2027 school year. You may qualify to use this tax credit for the 2025 tax year or 2026 tax year depending on your tax situation.

Please consult your tax advisor. This is a wonderful opportunity to make your tax dollars directly benefit your local community.

We appreciate your continuous support!

Please make sure to designate Ummah Center School when making your donation.

What is an SGO?
SGO stands for Scholarship Granting Organization.

Ohio established SGOs in 2021 to provide families with more opportunities to afford private K–12 education. SGOs are nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations certified each year by the Ohio Attorney General (Ohio Revised Code Section 5747.73). There are currently 76 certified SGOs across the state of Ohio.

How are scholarships funded?

Ohio taxpayers can support scholarships for students by contributing to an SGO and, in return, receive a 100% nonrefundable tax credit on their Ohio income tax liability (up to $750 for individuals and $1,500 for couples filing jointly).

Our School’s Partnership

We are partnering with the Ohio Scholarship Fund DBA Every Child Every Family SGO, which helps raise scholarship funds for our students. Every Child Every Family’s mission is to build partnerships that provide Ohio families with the resources needed to access the education that works best for their children.
