The Senior Beta Club went to the Florida Baptist Children's Home to serve in whatever means they needed at the time.  When we got to the home they told us only 2 men were on staff for maintenance and upkeep of the property.  We worked with one of the men to beautiful the property.  Some of the students pulled weeds in front of their main conference hall while other students painted picnic tables and raked leaves.  Two boys went out to tackle the weeds growing around their stables, one used a "weed-eater" and the other followed behind spraying weed killer.  The students spent 3 hours working on the property and were also given a tour and understanding of what the home provided and how their service was improving the living conditions for abandoned and at risk children and teens.
